Product Owner - Process Analytics & Data Engineering - Hybrid Role
Guildford Office (Up to 3 Days Per Week)
Are you passionate about driving innovation through data and process analytics? We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of a state-of-the-art process analytics platform. This platform integrates process modelling, process mining, and simulation tools to deliver actionable insights and empower organisations to optimise their operations.
As the Product Owner, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders, to define and prioritise features, ensuring that the platform aligns with business goals and maximises value for users.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and maintain the product roadmap for process analytics, focusing on user-centric design and functionality.
Prioritise features and enhancements based on user needs, market trends, and strategic business objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with business leaders, clients, and engineering teams to gather and document requirements.
Translate business needs into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Data Expertise
Oversee the integration of data warehousing components, including data lakes, ETL pipelines, and database modelling.
Collaborate with data engineers to design and validate database models and optimize data storage solutions.
Write and validate complex SQL queries to support analytics and platform functionality.
Process Analytics Integration
Lead the integration of process modelling, mining, and simulation tools into the platform.
Partner with data scientists to incorporate advanced analytics, including machine learning and AI functionalities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of process modelling, process mining, and simulation concepts and tools.
Expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and database modelling.
Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with software product lifecycles and delivery management.
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Knowledge of machine learning or AI integration is a plus.
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering actionable solutions.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of working up to three days per week in the Guildford office. Specific schedules will be agreed upon with your manager.
