We are partnered with a market leader in asset rental and sales in construction, who are going through a period of positive transformation following successful investment.
As one of the largest dealers in equipment rental and sales across the UK and Europe, they now need a proactive and dynamic Accounts Assistant to support the business growth and develop their skills within a supportive and high performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage credit card reconciliations, expenses and invoicing, maintaining accurate records.
- Checking monthly and daily reconciliations - identifying any discrepancies.
- Build relationships with supplier and customer accounts, solve overdue invoices and support with any queries.
- Assist the preparation of journals, prepayments and accruals to support month-end.
- Identify any opportunities to improve current processes and improve efficiencies.
- Work cohesively across different business units to support smooth financial operations.
- Process payroll submissions.
- Prepare financial reports, including variance analysis.
To Be Successful:
- Actively working towards ACCA, CIMA or AAT.
- Skilled in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Natural problem solver who can prioritise effectively.
- Ability to maintain accuracy working at high-volume.
- Strong analytical mindset.
