Strategic Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding


Our client, a global logistics provider with a real dedication to delivering top tier service to their valued clients are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team. You will be part of a thriving and dynamic company that offers flexibility to work from home & an exciting opportunity to join a growing business to make a real impact on the business by cultivating and overseeing new business ventures.


Location: Remote (work from home)

Company: Global logistics provider

Work hours: Monday to Friday, flexible work setup


Package & Benefits:

  • Salary: Up to £55,000 + 10% commission

Responsibilities:


  • Focus on generating new business (cold calls, emails, social media outreach)
  • Hand over successful leads to account managers
  • Set and exceed sales targets
  • Potential to build and lead a sales team in the future
  • Organize business meetings to discuss logistical needs with clients


Requirements:


  • Freight Forwarding experience is essential (previous roles as Strategic Sales Manager, Branch Sales Manager, or Senior BDM)
  • Must have knowledge of the UK freight forwarding sector
  • Experience in Sales or Business Development within the logistics industry is a must
  • Road freight experience is desirable but not mandatory
