Interim Legal Counsel

Opportunity for an experienced construction lawyer, ideally with energy or infrastructure experience. 3 months initial contract but potential to be longer term. Remote, commencing as soon as possible. Full time or part time (3-5 days)

Arbuthnot Yon are working with a global player in the energy sector who are looking for a construction lawyer to support on large-scale projects, dealing with multimillion pound contracts for this extremely successful and expanding organisation. The business is going through a sustained period of growth and their Head of Legal needs an experienced pair of hands to take on complex and high-value non-contentious construction and commercial contracts matters. The ideal interim lawyer would be one who can hit the ground running and is capable of negotiating and drafting multi-million pound construction and NEC contracts.

A minimum 3 month contract will be offered initially but the business may well require support beyond this period.

Energy experience would be beneficial, but we are also keen to hear from experienced construction lawyers who have worked on large scale projects with significant NEC experience.

This role can be undertaken remotely or be office based in the South West. The project will be structured on an interim basis and can be undertaken on either full or part-time (3 – 5 days per week).
