Are you a Commercial Finance Business Partner looking for a role in one of the country’s most exciting fast-growth retail businesses?

We're partnering with a PE Backed Retailer on a search for a Commercial Finance Business Partner - a newly created, broad role which will enable this Retailer to accelerate growth, profitability, and capitalise on market share opportunities.

This brand has continued to deliver against its key strategic priority for long-term profitable growth - outperforming the market. They generate revenues of £100m+ and have delivered strong compound annual sales and EBITDA growth over the last 10 years.

As Commercial Finance Business Partner you’ll lead on commercial insight to drive efficiencies, inform decision-making, and identify strategic opportunities underpinned by improved reporting and enhanced data governance.

You’ll love being ‘in the data’ as well as stepping back, evaluating what the numbers are telling us and effectively communicating the results. Being able to explain the story and the ‘so what’ implications of your analysis is a must have skill set. You’ll feel confident in proactively challenging assumptions and making recommendations for improvements.

The Role...

• Connecting finance with other teams - acting as a key business partner.
• Providing insights and analysis to key stakeholders on P&L and KPI performance.
• Collaborating on business cases and models, looking at strengths, areas for development and cost-benefit analysis.
• Ensuring non-finance teams are adhering to budgets and looking at variances.
• Enhancing weekly and monthly reporting across other departments.
• Supporting with budgeting and forecasting for other departments.
• Assisting with the development of financial reporting and analyse capabilities.
• Supporting with commercial analysis of projects to be considered by investors.
• Completing post implementation reviews.
• Ad hoc support to the Head of Commercial Finance.

About You…

• Qualified Finance Professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• 2+ years PQE
• Substantial business partnering/commercial finance experience
• Exposure to a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial online retail business (bonus criteria!)

Hybrid Working: 2/3 days a week in their Norwich office
