Maintenance Operative
Hourly rate: £13.68
Working hours: 20 per week
Location: Corby Enterprise Centre/ various Corby sites
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council for a Maintenance Operative to be responsible for the upkeep, general maintenance, cleaning and repairs of Council property sites.
This is a part time 3 temporary contract with a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
Driving licence and own vehicle will be required.
This role would suit someone with previous Maintenance or Caretaker experience.
Main duties:
Repair of site fabric and equipment and replacement of lighting
Removal and relocation of office furniture
Cleaning, litter picking and sweeping of common areas as required
Maintain drains and gutters on site
Installation and removal of signage
Life cycle works including flooring and painting
Kitchen, meeting rooms and w/c checks to maintain stock and presentation
Health & Safety tasks/ projects and maintain site security escalating any issues
Liaise with contractors under supervision of the Business Centres ManagersFor more information, please apply now
