Teacher of Performing Arts
Location: Gravesham
Salary: £120 - £250 per day
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Long-term, Full-time

Responsibilities of the Teacher of Performing Arts:
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Dance and Performing Arts across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5 teaching.
Inspire students to explore creativity, build self-expression, and develop technical performance skills.
Plan and execute practical and theory lessons that bring the world of Dance and Performance to life.
Lead extracurricular clubs, rehearsals, and performances to showcase students' talents.
Collaborate with the Performing Arts team to design and deliver a rich, inclusive curriculum.
Use innovative teaching methods to create a dynamic and interactive classroom environment.
Assess, monitor, and encourage students to achieve their fullest potential in the subject.
The Ideal Performing Arts Teacher Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience in teaching Dance and Performing Arts.
A passion for the Performing Arts, with the ability to inspire creativity and enthusiasm in students.
Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering outstanding teaching.
Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one.
