Job Description

Sales Engineer Birmingham, Capital Equipment. Are you an experienced Territory Sales Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? A leading and highly regarded capital equipment manufacturer selling solutions to the food industry is seeking a driven and dynamic territory sales manager to join their UK team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid technical sales background, with the ability to find new routes to market and a passion for building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

* As a Territory Sales Engineer, you'll be the first point of contact for clients, building rapport and understanding their technical needs to provide tailored solutions.

* You’ll split your time between the office and visiting clients across the UK and Ireland, with regular travel and overnight stays.

* You’ll manage new business development as well as some existing accounts, aiming to hit sales targets while providing top-notch service.

* Prepare and conduct demonstrations and trials for machinery and equipment.

* Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth.

What We’re Looking For:

* A strong technical sales background with proven success in technical sales, ideally within machinery or manufacturing.

* Ability to investigate and find potential new routes to market for the company products.

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to quickly connect with clients.

* Resilience, tenacity, and independence with a knack for problem-solving and analysis.

* Strong team-working skills with the ability to manage customer relationships efficiently.

* High-level administrative skills, especially for CRM database management.

What’s On Offer:

* Basic Salary: Up to £50,000 per year (dependent on experience)

* Bonus: Potential to earn circa £15,000 in bonuses annually.
