Location: Gravesham
Salary: £120 - £250 per day
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Long-term, Full-time

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher to deliver engaging Food Technology lessons while inspiring students to explore their creativity, develop their culinary skills, and understand the wider world of Hospitality & Catering.
Responsibilities of a Teacher of Food Technology:
Deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology and Hospitality & Catering across KS3 and KS4.
Develop and implement creative, practical, and challenging lesson plans that ignite student interest and foster skill development.
Inspire students to explore topics like nutrition, food science, and the hospitality industry.
Maintain a safe, well-equipped classroom environment and promote good health and safety practices.
Assess, track, and report on student progress to ensure they meet or exceed their potential.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the design and delivery of a dynamic Food Technology curriculum.
The Ideal Food Technology Teacher Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Specialism or proven experience teaching Food Technology and/or Hospitality & Catering.
A commitment to delivering practical, inspiring, and inclusive lessons.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage practical lessons effectively.
An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one.
A genuine enthusiasm for fostering creativity and a love of learning in students.
