Jackson Hogg is supporting a fantastic Newcastle based organisation on the appointment of an Accounts Payable Supervisor.
As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will:
* Lead a small Accounts Payable team, providing guidance and support.
* Act as the 'go-to’ expert for all accounts payable queries within your assigned region.
* Develop and upskill your team through regular 1:1s, monthly check-ins, and appraisals, ensuring their growth and success.
* Efficiently manage the AP inbox, responding to queries and maintaining clear communication.
* Handle multi-currency invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
* Resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
* Multi-year experience of AP in a Shared Services environment.
* Experience in customer service environment, with ability to manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
* Used to working to deadlines, prioritising workload and ability to deliver work through others.
* Knowledge and experience of using Oracle, JDE, Concur.
* Sound knowledge of complex AP Processes.
* Willingness to develop people management skills.
* Commitment to continuous improvement
