Job Description
Position: Mechanical Inspector
Location: Islington, London
Salary: £30 - £35
Service Area: Housing Property Services
The Role:
The Mechanical Inspector role is to Inspect and monitor mechanical works to ensure compliance and quality.
Maintain detailed site diaries and documentation.
Provide technical advice on engineering solutions, specifications, and maintenance requirements.
Ensure projects adhere to health and safety standards, statutory regulations, and budget constraints.
Liaise with stakeholders, attend meetings, and assist in preparing technical reports.The Candidate:
HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent, or a recognized apprenticeship with relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including gas installations and communal heating.
Experience in inspection, project management, and contractor supervision.
Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.
Familiarity with statutory regulations, codes of practice, and British Standards.How to Apply:
