My client is a privately owned, dynamic Civil and Structural Consultancy that is looking to grow in Manchester and across the North-West Region and is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to assist with our ambitious growth plans. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solving engineering problems;

• Familiarity with design guides and standards;

• Knowledge of the designer's responsibilities under CDM (2015);

• Identify and manage risks within your area of responsibility;

• Supporting other team members in their technical development;

• Attending site visits to review project constraints and the construction process proactively;

• Leading and managing the delivery of appropriate projects, liaising with clients and third parties;

• Capable of presenting and discussing technical solutions with technical and non-technical parties;

• Internal project management including resource planning and financial control;

• Identifying and responding to project commercial risks and opportunities;

• Developing fee proposals and project cost estimates;

• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing and prospective clients;

• Investing in personal development;
