Job Description
Electrician - Facilities Management - County Durham, England - £40,000 DOE
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the leading facilities management companies based in the UK.
Hours of work: Mon to Fri - 8am to 5pm - 40 hours
Salary: £40,000 DOE
Location: County Durham, England
Role Responsibilities:
To investigate, diagnose and rectify faults and to carry out various tasks on BMS
Carry out isolations to Company standards to enable the safe disconnection of electrical and mechanical equipment.
To check, test, set and adjust electrical and mechanical equipment.
To operate and monitor plant items and services and to maintain such systems including the addition of chemicals and lubricants in accordance with current COSHH regulations.
To liaise with and assist the Engineering team in the generation and reviewing of assets/PPM's and for the prioritising of the day-to-day work, i.e. PPM's and SSR's to ensure compliance with SOP's and SLA's.
To complete Electrical Distribution Board Testing and Inspections and Building Electrical repairs.
Completion and closure of all EWP's relating to any electrical activities.
The Ideal Candidate:
BS7671 Electrical Regulations
Ideally served a recognised trade training scheme
Ability to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements as required within the scope of the contract
IOSH Working safely
Able to complete & produce RAMs
Knowledge of working on BMS systems.
City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering - 2382 10 or equivalent.
