Job Description
HSQE Advisor
Toro Recruitment is seeking an HSQE Advisor for an independent connection provider. This is an excellent opportunity for health and safety professionals ready to advance their career by taking on greater responsibility, influencing positive change, and driving a strong HSQE culture across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental policies, legislation, and guidance.
* Update and maintain company management systems for health, safety, environment, and quality.
* Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for improving HSQE performance and fostering behavioural change.
* Deliver in-house HSE training sessions and conduct toolbox talks to raise awareness of safety practices.
* Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* NEBOSH Construction Certification or equivalent qualification.
* Proven experience in health and safety within an engineering or construction environment.
* Familiarity with auditing processes, including ISO 9001 and 14001, and experience conducting internal and external audits.
* Strong IT skills for managing documentation and updating policies.
* Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.
