Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent/Cost Consultant
Location: Cambridge (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary Range: Up to 55K + Car Allowance
Think Property & Surveying are delighted to be in partnership with a private client who are working closely with us to appoint an additional Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent to their close-knit team.
What You’ll Do:
* The organisation's main client base sit with the Social Housing sector, and is made up of Local Authorities and Housing providers
* Performing QS and EA functions
* Your work will be spread across a range of different projects including minor and major works, new builds, refurbishment projects
* Full project life cycle from inception to completion
* Pre & Post Contract
* Procurement
* Final accounts
* Cost estimates
* Issuing variations
* Contract administration
* Tender documentation
* Feasibility Studies
* Providing clients with professional advice
What Are They Looking For
* Previous experience as a QS/EA in a consultancy or contractor
* RICS accredited degree
* Experience working in Social Housing/Local Authority would be advantageous
* Knowledge of JCT Traditional, Design & Build, Intermediate and Minor Works Contracts is desirable.
* Committed and driven to pursuing your career as you will be provided ample learning and development support
* Ability to work individually and as part of a wider team
