Project Manager
Toro Recruitment is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to join a leading Independent Connection Provider (ICP) in London. If you are an experienced professional with a strong background in managing electrical projects up to 11kV, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in the power distribution sector.
Our partner is expanding their Operations Team and working on diverse projects, including partnerships with a local DNO and private network projects across London and beyond. This role offers a dynamic mix of technical leadership and project execution within a rapidly growing organization that values expertise and career progression.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager include:
* Contract & Project Oversight: Ensure projects align with company and client standards.
* Programme Management: Develop and manage construction schedules, key milestones, and resource plans.
* Team Coordination: Organize works for site teams and sub-contractors to meet deadlines effectively.
* Health & Safety Leadership: Support the Contract Manager in achieving safety targets, conducting toolbox talks, and ensuring SHEQ compliance.
* Procurement & Logistics: Oversee plant and material orders, track equipment usage, and ensure assets are operational.
* Regulatory Compliance: Manage streetworks, traffic management plans, and ensure all operators have up-to-date training.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven end-to-end project management experience in utility or infrastructure projects.
* Background in civils and utilities (electrical focus preferred).
* Strong understanding of streetworks and traffic management regulations.
Qualifications:
* NRSWA Supervisor (Streetworks).
* SMSTS or Prince2 certification.
* First Aid Training and on-site Health & Safety awareness.
* Full UK Driving Licence and the ability to work on-site and in an office setting.
What this is Offering:
* Competitive salary of up to £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
* 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
