Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Service Manager with experience in leadership and management. The ideal Service Manager candidate will have a sound recent background in caring for those with physical disabilities and have a strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
This attractive, small sized residential care home is a part of a well-established care company where care and compassion is at the heart of everything they do. They are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Home Manager to maintain the good reputation of the home and promote person-centred care for all residents.
As the Service Manager you will hold overall responsibility for the home shared with the Assistant Manager and will play a key role in ensuring that the company’s high standards are implemented and adhered to throughout the service. Service Manager Skills / Experience:
* 2+ years of managerial experience within a Care Home setting
* Have a good understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, safeguarding and care plans
* NVQ level 5 or equivalent
* CQC Registered
Service Manager Duties will include:
* Being responsible for ensuring the very best person-centred care service is provided to our residents whilst promoting their interests and understanding their needs
* Effectively managing your staff, providing guidance and on-going supervision and support, recruiting and onboarding new staff and continually develop and encourage your team.
* Having commercial control and working closely with the Customer Relations Team to ensure that optimum occupancy is maintained in your home by creative marketing strategies ensuring cost control over fees and staffing.
* Regularly liaising with residents and their families to ensure consistent care is provided throughout.
