Job Description

Role: 66kV SAP
Location: Offshore UK
Rotation: 2/2 (Must be flexible as 3/3 rotations may be required occasionally)
Start Date: January 2025
Duration: 6-Months + Likely Extensions
Rates: £750 Daily Rate Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Clearance: BPSS (DBS/DS, Financial Probity, Employment History) + Medical Questionnaire & Proof of Right to Work in the UK

- Candidates will be considered at 33kV SAP if they have Multi-Feed experience

Description:

Ensure safe working practices are in place, reporting incidents, undertaking risk assessments and audits, promoting a positive Health and Safety culture.
SAP duties as required reporting to Lead SAP.
Producing and reviewing switching schedules.
Provide isolations and safety documentation for the wind farm
Working under project High Voltage safety rules (Model Distribution Safety Rules)
Assisting in the testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems
Provide personal supervision if required
Conduct and review point of work risk assessments
Further shared responsibilities within the wider team include driving the commissioning process by representing project standards for safety and quality, with further scope to develop competencies under the WTSR and support commissioning engineers during walkdowns.

Required:

Full GWO: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
Offshore medical certificate including Chester Step
Offshore HUET
Knowledge of WTG WTSR
Knowledge of Electrical Safety Rules
ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
Current Senior Authorised Person authorisation to 66KV or aboveCarbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group STEM Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
