Job Description
Equitas is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to join one of our partner schools. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a vibrant and supportive secondary school environment that is passionate about delivering high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in Religious Education to students at KS3 and KS4.
* Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking about diverse beliefs and cultures.
* Prepare, plan, and assess lessons that meet the curriculum requirements.
* Track and support student progress through effective feedback and communication with parents and colleagues.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
Essential Requirements:
* Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching Religious Education within a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential for early career teachers.
* Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Religious Education.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential.
* Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
