KS2 Primary Teacher
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is looking for a KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Manchester. The school is a vibrant, Ofsted Good Primary school, committed to providing a high standard of education and fostering a positive learning environment.
The role is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers, and the school offers excellent opportunities for ongoing professional development. Depending on performance, there is potential for the contract to be extended or for a permanent position to be offered.

Location Manchester
Position KS2 Primary Teacher
Type of work Class Teacher: planning, preparation, marking, and attending parents evenings.
Contract or position start date January 2025
Duration / Likely Duration 2 terms (until July 2025)
Contract or position end date July 2025
Contract type Temporary (potential for extension or permanent role)
Full time/part time Full time
Minimum rate of pay Paid to Scale
Hours 8:00 am 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year teaching experience in Key Stage 2 (preferred).
Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable but not essential as training can be provided).
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to process a new one).
Provide two professional child-related references that cover at least the last two years.
