Associate Building Surveyor - Join a Dynamic Team in Central London
A forward-thinking construction consultancy in London is looking for a motivated Associate Building Surveyor to join their collaborative team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to step into a leadership position, working on diverse and impactful projects while mentoring team members and contributing to the consultancy's ongoing growth.
The Associate Building Surveyor's Role
As an Associate Building Surveyor, you will lead and manage projects across various sectors, with a significant focus on the education sector, including prestigious grade-listed properties. You'll have the opportunity to oversee unique and technically challenging projects, from roof replacements to internal alterations and building designs.
In addition to delivering exceptional surveying services, you'll play a key role in managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and mentoring junior staff as they progress through their APC journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support projects within the education sector, working with both public and private institutions
Oversee work on grade-listed buildings, maintaining quality standards and heritage sensitivity
Manage and deliver projects such as roof replacements, internal redesigns, and build designs
Foster strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction
Mentor junior staff, assisting with APC training and professional development
Contribute to business growth by identifying and developing new opportunitiesThe ideal Associate Building Surveyor will have
MRICS qualification with significant post-qualification experience
Strong technical expertise, particularly in listed buildings and education projects
Proven ability to manage projects and deliver high-quality outcomes
Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
Proactive and ambitious, with a drive to contribute to business growthIn Return?
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 (dependent on experience)
