Credit Controller

Crawley

Up to £32,000


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
  • Monitor credit limits and payment terms, taking appropriate action when accounts exceed limits or are overdue.
  • Handle queries and disputes professionally to resolve payment delays.
  • Reconcile customer accounts, ensuring accuracy of invoices and payments.
  • Prepare and issue monthly statements and overdue notices.
  • Maintain detailed records of communication with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve account issues.
  • Provide regular reports on debtor performance and highlight any areas of concern.


Requirements:

  • Credit Control experience isn't crucial however must have experience working in customer service, doing a high number of calls on a daily basis.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • A professional and customer-focused approach.
