Credit Controller
Crawley
Up to £32,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
- Monitor credit limits and payment terms, taking appropriate action when accounts exceed limits or are overdue.
- Handle queries and disputes professionally to resolve payment delays.
- Reconcile customer accounts, ensuring accuracy of invoices and payments.
- Prepare and issue monthly statements and overdue notices.
- Maintain detailed records of communication with clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve account issues.
- Provide regular reports on debtor performance and highlight any areas of concern.
Requirements:
- Credit Control experience isn't crucial however must have experience working in customer service, doing a high number of calls on a daily basis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
