Job Description
This role is for a talented and driven Controls & Instrumentation Engineer who will excel in the industrial industry. This role requires significant knowledge and skills in control systems and instrumentation and will primarily be based at their West of Scotland site but will also cover their other Scotland sites.

Description
To support commissioning/validation of new process operations, support existing operational sites
Technical troubleshooting of comms/SCADA/software issues, generation of plant documentation & risk assessments,
Optimisation of plant process parameters, deliver process improvement projects across the sites
Training and competence assessment of site staff.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of system documentation.
Manage project timelines and deliverables.Profile
Essential
*A working knowledge of safe working practices and procedures
*Competence in electrical engineering / instrumentation and systems software
*Experience in plant operations
Desirable
*Degree level qualification in engineering/controls & systems based discipline
*Knowledge of current health and safety/environmental compliance
*Experience in delivering process improvement projects
Resilient individual with a flexible approach and the ability to work on their own initiative
Flexible individual who can work out of hours and across several sites as required (full drivers license required)Job Offer
A competitive salary range of approximately £50-55k per year, plus a £6,000 car allowance.
