About the Role: As a Nursery Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the daily activities of the nursery, helping children to develop and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. You’ll be responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of activities, ensuring children’s well-being, and supporting them as they explore, learn, and have fun.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in providing high-quality care for children aged 0-5.
* Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote early learning and development.
* Ensure children’s safety, hygiene, and well-being at all times.
* Help with meal times, nap times, and other daily routines.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on their child’s progress.
* Work alongside a friendly, dedicated team of professionals in a collaborative environment.
About You:
* A genuine love for working with children.
* Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting (desirable, but not essential).
* A positive, friendly, and proactive attitude.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3) is a plus, but not required for the right candidate.
* DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
