The Structural Engineer will join a dynamic and collaborative team, working on a hybrid basis to deliver innovative designs across a diverse range of sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, schools, and leisure. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals while taking ownership of projects and contributing to creative and practical engineering solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping designs from inception to completion, managing their own workload, and collaborating closely with the wider structural engineering team to deliver projects that blend technical excellence with aesthetic precision.
Key Responsibilities
Develop design solutions from initial concepts through to project completion for structural engineering assignments.
Perform calculations in accordance with Eurocodes and design structural elements in reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, timber, and foundations.
Create detailed PDF mark-ups for design documentation.
Assemble comprehensive calculation packages for building control submissions.
Produce technical reports that clearly present engineering analyses and solutions.
Collaborate effectively with clients and the wider design team to ensure seamless project delivery.
Participate in project meetings and conduct site visits as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
Proficiency in Eurocodes and the ability to design structural elements in reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, timber, and foundations.
Experience with structural analysis software and CAD tools.
Strong technical report writing skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and design teams.
