Job Description
We are working with a global technology provider specialising in automation for highly regulated and advanced manufacturing industries. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team and contribute to innovative robotic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and test robotic applications within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Create mechanical designs and bills of materials using SolidWorks®.
* Ensure designs meet safety regulations and quality standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage procurement.
* Support sales teams with innovative solutions.
Essential Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
* Significant experience in machinery/laboratory equipment design and SolidWorks®.
* Familiarity with 6-axis robots, pneumatics, and machinery regulations.
* Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills.
Desirable:
* Experience with ATEX systems and component handling.
* Knowledge of servo/stepper motors and modular frameworks.
