Behaviour Mentor Role - Immediate Start in Enfield

Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome challenges and reach their potential? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a committed Behaviour Mentor to join a vibrant secondary school in Enfield. Starting immediately, this rewarding role provides an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with behavioural needs while fostering their social and emotional growth.

About the Role

As a Behaviour Mentor, your key responsibilities will include:

Offering one-on-one classroom support to students with behavioural challenges.
Maintaining a visible presence around the school to promote positive behaviour.
Addressing low-level disruptions and cultivating a productive learning atmosphere.
De-escalating incidents and teaching students self-regulation techniques.
Supervising students in the isolation room, ensuring they remain on-task with their studies.
Overseeing and managing detention sessions.This full-time, term-time-only position runs until July 2025, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Have prior experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role within a secondary school.
Be confident, compassionate, and firm, with strong boundary-setting skills.
Possess excellent administrative abilities; familiarity with SIMS is advantageous.
Be reliable, consistent, and caring, providing stability and support for students.
Be prepared for a physically active role, patrolling corridors and responding to student needs throughout the day.This role is both challenging and deeply rewarding, offering the chance to witness students grow and succeed under your guidance.

Position Details

Start Date: Immediately
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 am - 4:00 pm
Pay: £95-£100 per day (depending on experience)
