Job Description
Our client is after a passionate Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan writer to join the team. This role involves preparing EHC plans to ensure SEN casework team deadlines are met by the key transitions phases. This role comes with a planned start date!
What’s in it for you/ Benefits:
• £14.36 per hour
• 9am-5pm Monday-Friday
• 3 month contract
• Planned start date as Monday 6th January 2025
Role overview:
Your job will be to prepare and amend Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans to ensure they stay up to date and meet the student’s current views, outcomes and provision. You will also be working with SEN casework teams to ensure that statutory deadlines for key transition phases are met. You will be contributing to the development of best practice, procedures
Key Responsibilities:
• To prepare and amend Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans
• To contribute towards the collation and production of data/statistics
• To provide support and cover to the EHC Plan & Quality Assurance (QA) Office
Skills and Experience:
• Experience in EHC plan writing
• Knowledge of SEN service objectives, laws and practice
• Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to interpret sensitive & complex information in a easy to understand documentation
