Engineering and Technical Lead
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Salary: £80,000
We’re working with a major international energy business to help them find their next Engineering & Technical Lead.
Key Responsibilities
As Engineering and Technical Lead, you will:
* Define and coordinate design and technical assurance for marine and tunnelling works, ensuring integration with the broader Civil Works Programme.
* Act as an Intelligent Customer, overseeing compliance, conducting surveillance, and managing the engineering budget and resources.
* Represent the Civil Works Programme in governance and performance forums.
* Provide technical oversight for construction, manufacturing quality, and specialist engineering tasks.
* Ensure compliance with Principal Designer duties under CDM regulations.
* Collaborate with design teams, suppliers, alliance partners, and regulatory bodies to deliver the project.
Required Skills and Experience
Essential:
* Strong background in civil engineering structures, marine works, or multidisciplinary design management.
* Proven leadership in technical team management and supplier direction.
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Degree-level qualification in a related field.
