Job Description

Are you a highly skilled Full Stack Developer looking for your next exciting challenge? Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team and contribute to the development of their cutting-edge Next.js web application hosted on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in front-end and back-end development, with a particular focus on Next.js and Azure cloud services. You will work alongside a collaborative team of developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation.
Build and manage server-side applications using Node.js.
Utilise Azure services, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), for deploying and managing applications.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Design and manage databases, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
Develop and consume RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
Collaborate with others to ensure top-notch software delivery.
Utilise Git for code management.
Ensure the performance and scalability of web applications.
Adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies.
Manage multiple tasks and projects with strong organisational skills.
Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
2-5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
Proven experience with Next.js and Azure cloud services.
Relevant certifications in Azure or web development are a plus.
Skills:

In-depth knowledge of Next.js and React.js.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
Experience in building server-side applications using Node.js.
Hands-on experience with Azure services, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cosmos DB.
Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
Proficiency with Git and Git workflows.
Desired skills:

Experience in optimising web applications for performance and scalability.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and UX/UI design principles.
Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Soft skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Quick adaptability to new technologies.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
