Job Description
As part of the TÜV family, Risktec Resourcing have been tasked to assist our sister company TÜV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS) in recruiting for an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer for our Warrington or Belasis office.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical / Electrical Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer who has experience of designing (able to interpret power system studies) or maintaining (awareness of electrical condition monitoring) EC&I equipment, such as automated machines, switchgear, MCCs , Inverters, PLCs, control valves and field instrumentation to join our dynamic team of highly experienced Integrity Management Consultants and Engineers, delivering Asset Integrity Management services to client companies across the globe in all industry sectors.
As an EC&I Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our projects are completed on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will possess: -
At least 5 years’ experience working in a relevant engineering field.
A strong foundation in electrical and automation (including electrical wiring regulations BS7671) engineering principles and a passion for innovation.
Minimum 2:1 Degree level qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Have effective communication skills and be customer focused. Able to manage uncertain and complex situations.
UK Driving License.
Energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate, with a drive to develop and further their career.
Engineering and Operating experience working in High Hazard Oil, Gas & Chemicals Industry, with consequent knowledge of topics such as ATEX/DSEAR and Functional Safety. (desirable)
Associate or Chartered member of relevant institution e.g. Institution of Engineering and Technology. (desirable)You will work alongside a principal consultant on all types of project sizes and complexities, with a particular emphasis on improving safety, reliability and integrity for clients, following an agile approach to identify new and more efficient ways of working.
