Job Title: Engineering Skills & Capability Lead
Salary: Up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Stevenage or Bristol (relocation package available)
Dynamic Working: On average 3 days per week on-site (dependent on project needs)
Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK National

The Opportunity
As an Engineering Skills & Capability Lead, you will be at the forefront of delivering strategies and solutions that enhance the engineering workforce. Working within a dynamic Capability & Governance team, you'll lead improvement projects, identify critical technical skills, and implement initiatives that drive long-term success.
Collaborating with technical experts and stakeholders across Europe, you'll govern processes, deliver solutions, and shape the working practices that enable the development of cutting-edge products.
Your Role
Drive the delivery of the Engineering Skills & Knowledge Strategy, identifying and cultivating critical technical expertise.
Manage improvement projects, ensuring alignment with long-term engineering goals.
Collaborate with international teams to deliver innovative working practices and initiatives.
Collect and analyse data to inform strategies and enable continuous improvement.
Build strong relationships across multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration at all levels.

Engineering expertise with a proven ability to develop innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong project management and organisational skills, with experience working on multiple projects in agile environments.
Proficiency in data analysis and using insights to drive decision-making.
A track record of problem-solving and implementing new ways of working.
Experience working closely with stakeholders, engineering partners, and international teams.
Excellent communication skills and confidence to work autonomously across all levels.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and build relationships across disciplines.Please note: Security clearance will be required, including BPSS checks.
