Onsite Support Engineer

Job Description
Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working as an Onsite Support Engineer for a successful Managed Service Provider to be based in London?
This role will involve a rotation between working Onsite in the West End and on the Service Desk (1 in 4 weeks) which can be done remotely.
Main Duties of the Role
* Responsible for troubleshooting, fault finding, fixing, and providing customer advice on systems
* Managing assigned tickets using the ticket management system
* Providing support within agreed SLAs to ensure response and fix times are met
* Remote desktop/server support with windows environments
* Investigation of server and platform monitoring alerts
* Server and desktop patching via centrally managed systems
* Keeping customer documentation up to date
* Involvement in technical projects for technology deployments/upgrades
Your Skills and Experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong networking knowledge with proficiency in troubleshooting networking protocols
* Solid experience of server support and virtual environments (VMware)
* Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365.
* Knowledge of backup solutions
* Understanding of ITIL practices
Salary
* £35,000-£40,000 per annum
* + Overtime & on call
