Teacher of Drama and Film (Maternity Cover)
Location: Gosport
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)
Start Date: January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter

Role Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and inspiring Drama and Film lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Develop innovative teaching strategies to support all learners
Contribute to curriculum development and improvement planning
Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
Organize and oversee drama productions and film projects
Maintain a positive learning environment that nurtures creativity and self-expression
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge in Drama (essential) and Film Studies (desireable)
Shows commitment to raising student achievement in performing arts
Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Displays enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
