Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Location: Berkshire RG7
Salary: up to £27,565.00
We are currently recruiting for Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our client's beautiful Nursery based in Berkshire RG7. Successful Nursery Practitoner candidates can expect a competitive salary, additional training and have the opportunity to grow and progress in your career. The role will include a 42.5 hour week on a shift basis between 7:30am and 6pm, working with the 2-3 year olds as well as within the baby rooms!
Purpose of the Role:
To effectively work as a Nursery Practitioner, alongside a team in Early Years to deliver a stimulating and nurturing environment for children
To work under the person in charge efficiently and carry out tasks set out by them to a high standard.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Designated key person, completing observations and planning activities for individual children
Contribute to the everyday running of the Nursery as a Nursery Practitoner
Help deliver a programme of age-appropriate activities designed to stimulate the children you are working with
Adhere to the Nursery Safeguarding Policy and manage the safety of the children in your care at ALL times
Report any accidents to the relevant member of staff in the room you are based in
Have passion and enthusiasm for providing a fun and stimulating environment for children
Build a strong and solid relationship with Parents, children and other staff members
Assist with the planning of a range of interesting, age appropriate activities for the EYFS curriculum
Working with a variety of age groups e.g. 2-3 year olds as well as within baby rooms
Essential Skills:
Previous experience as a Nursery practitioner caring for young children from the ages of 0-5 years
Knowledge of the EYFS, the seven areas of learning and any other relevant assessment schemes
Able to communicate effectively with other staff members and build positive relationships as a nursery practitioner
A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalentWhat the Nursery are Offering

Recent First Aid Certificate
Safeguarding and Child Protection training
1 Year Experience of working in a nursery setting
