Full-Time Design & Technology Teacher – Secondary School (Bitterne)
Start Date: January 2025 – Contract Until July 2025
Pay: £150 - £230 per day
Location: Bitterne (Near Southampton)
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Full-Time
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for A Design & Technology (DT) Teacher to join a secondary school near Bitterne, starting in January 2025. This long-term role will run until July 2025, with potential for extension.

Job Description:
As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to explore the world of design and technology. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and creativity, encouraging students to develop their skills in problem-solving, designing, and making. Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, deliver, and assess DT lessons that align with the national curriculum.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to engage with the subject.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Build positive relationships with students, fostering their growth in both technical skills and creative thinking.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment during all lessons and practical activities.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, contributing to the ongoing development of the DT department.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Design & Technology in a secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for DT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students in the world of design and technology.
