Insurance Business Development Executive
MERJE is seeking a driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to join a leading health and insurance company. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop new business for corporate health and wellbeing products using a consultative approach across a geographic region.
Salary £32,000 plus upto 50% bonus
Location: Hybrid (West Yorkshire)
12 Months FTC

The Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business growth, achieving sales targets, and building long-term client relationships. This role offers a blend of virtual and telephone-based sales, with opportunities for face-to-face interactions.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive:
Develop and win new business for corporate health & wellbeing products
Achieve set personal quarterly targets and contribute to departmental goals
Conduct thorough fact-finding to understand client needs and present tailored solutions
Manage pipeline effectively using CRM systems
Utilise marketing tools and market intelligence to target and sell health and wellbeing propositions
Required knowledge and experience for the Business Development Executive role:
Minimum 18 months experience in a B2B-based role
Proven track record of consistently achieving targets against budget
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and objection handling skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently and prioritise workload
Experience in sourcing leads and building relationships using a consultative approach
