Job Description
My client are a well-established, debt free, profitable and privately owned London high end refurbishment specialist who since their establishment over 30 years ago have built up an excellent reputation in their respective marketplace.They pride themselves on the diversity of their client base and project portfolio with all their work comprising strong elements of challenging structural modifications, cut and carve, basement excavation, façade retention, refurbishment and restorations in the heart of London across the pride residential, museum, gallery, listed building, heritage, private education and private healthcare sectors.
They have amassed a turnover last year of circa £40m with their typical projects ranging between £5m - £15m in contract value. In the last few years, they have been going through a period of growth with a couple of larger £15m - £20m coming to site.
Position: Lead Document Controller
Working Hours: 8am – 5pm
Software: Procore
Salary: £45,000 (depending on experience) + Travel (£550 monthly max) + Pension
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to become the standalone and lead document controller within this growing, well-respected high-end contractor. In accordance with their measure growth plan, they are now looking for strong Document Controller to run the department who will initially be covering a couple of their flagship projects in Central London. Aside from a strong skill set and knowledge of procure, they are seek someone with ambition to grow and develop into a department lead with the goal of managing a team as the company continues to grow.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Developing and creating Procore platforms for use across company Point of contact for project related information.
* Document control across multiple projects in terms of RFI’S/Submittals/Tech Subs/Drawings/Samples
* Implementing procedures
* First point of contact for and Procore issues
* Adding new users and setting permissions
* Creating multiple projects
* Document Control
* QA Checking all documents issued through Procore
* Uploading documents from various sources e.g. architects, trades, client.
* Ensuring document workflow and audit trail is accurate
* Keeping a record of all documents received via reporting
* Printing drawings for racks and site files.
