Site Agent - Civil Engineering Contractor (Ayrshire)
Permanent Position
On behalf of our client, a respected and well-established Civil Engineering Contractor renowned for delivering high-quality engineering and construction solutions, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Site Agent for renewable projects based in Ayrshire.
Role Overview
As the Site Agent, you will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure effective project management and timely delivery. We are looking for candidates with a solid background in civil engineering and a proven track record of successfully overseeing multiple civil engineering projects across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and organise on-site labour effectively.
Optimise resource utilisation on-site to ensure efficient project progression.
Deliver contracts safely, on time, and within budget, meeting client specifications.
Ensure HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) compliance at all stages.
Maintain accurate site records and registers.
Enforce company safety procedures and standards.
Foster positive relationships on and off-site.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Applicants should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the following qualifications and experience:
Qualifications: HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience: Proven track record as a Site Agent with successful civil project delivery experience.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
Methodical, with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and project costing software.
Certifications: Valid CSCS card.
Other Requirements: Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as needed.
