Our client is seeking a Senior Human Resources (HR) Generalist to play a pivotal role in managing HR operations and driving strategic initiatives across their business. Requirements: A Human Resources qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree) is essential 5–7 years of progressive HR experience with advanced HR generalist responsibilities Professional HR certification is preferred Experience in the Financial Services industry is advantageous Expertise in labour laws, HR principles, and HRIS systems Proficiency in MS Office Suite Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and labour laws Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes to ensure successful integration of new hires Foster employee engagement through events, wellness initiatives, and recognition programs Serve as a trusted advisor, addressing workplace issues, conducting investigations, and facilitating conflict resolution Identify training needs, coordinate development programs, and support leadership and succession planning Manage compensation structures, benefits administration, and payroll processing Collect and analyze HR data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making Ensure compliance with Employment Equity, Skills, Health & Safety regulations, and lead audits Drive performance management processes, promoting feedback and continuous improvement Support special HR projects and provide ad-hoc assistance as required
