EdEx are working with a 'Good', modern Secondary School based in Hall Green, Birmingham. The Headteacher is keen to hire an Unqualified Learning Support Assistant for SEN to support young people with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SpLD, SEMH needs and more.
This Unqualified Learning Support Assistant for SEN role involves supporting pupils with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis, as well as assisting class teachers with delivering core subject material such as Maths, English and Science. This is the ideal role for those looking to pursue a career in education, psychology, sociology, social work, mental health support work and more!

Based in Hall Green, Birmingham
Supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
January 2025 start
30am - 4pm
Monday - Friday only
Term-Time, Long-Term and Full-Time position
£105 - £110 per day
Working across KS3, KS4 and KS5
Monitoring the progress of pupils and assisting children of various ages and abilitiesThe Ideal Unqualified Learning Support Assistant for SEN
A graduate with strong academics across the board - GCSEs, A-Levels and Degree
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous school-based experience working with students with SEN
