You will assist in managing classroom behaviour, developing individual behaviour plans
Offering one-on-one support to students facing behavioural challenges. Your role will also include:
Providing tailored support to students who are at risk of exclusion or disengagement.
Delivering strategies to encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
Monitoring and tracking progress of students on individual behaviour plans.
Collaborating with teaching staff, senior leadership, and external agencies to support students.
Organising and facilitating group or individual sessions to address behavioural and emotional needs.
Supporting students during break times and transitions to ensure a safe, inclusive environment.About You - Behaviour Mentor - Southwark
Experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural or emotional challenges.
A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
The ability to build trust and rapport with students, helping them feel supported and motivated.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and resilience in the face of challenging situations.
