Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Southwark - January 2025 £100 - £130 per day (depending on experience) - Long-term, Full-time
About the Role - HLTA -Southwark
Teach360 is currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) provision in Southwark. This is an exciting opportunity for a vibrant, energetic, and hardworking individual to make a significant difference in the lives of students with special educational needs (SEN), particularly those with SEMH and challenging behaviour.
As an HLTA, you will be responsible for covering lessons and delivering targeted interventions, working closely with students who require additional support. You will need to be empathetic, patient, and understanding as you support students with diverse learning needs. If you have a passion for supporting young people and a desire to develop your teaching career, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Covering lessons for teachers when required, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience for students.
Running interventions designed to support students with SEN, SEMH, and challenging behaviour.
Planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities for individuals or groups, tailored to students' specific needs.
Assessing, recording, and reporting on the progress of students, working with other staff to ensure the best outcomes.
Providing individual and group support to help students develop both academically and emotionally.About the School - HLTA - Southwark
