My Client is recruiting for a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer in the Water Sector
Locations - Cardiff, Exeter or Bristol - with Hybrid working
Salary £55-80K depending on experience and qualifications.
We are currently seeking a Senior to Principal Mechanical Engineer to join us in our Cardiff, Bristol or Exeter offices - with hybrid working allowing for a combination of in-office and home working. The role would suit a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer who wants to take their next step in their career within an industry leading consultancy by working on exciting projects in the water sector.

The successful candidate will be involved in the whole project life cycle from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design and construction support including site surveys and investigations.
You will hold responsibility for working and liaising with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, supply chain partners, contractors, planners and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the projects and community. You will help mentor and guide less experienced members within the team.
Experience and Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject. You will ideally be Chartered or Incorporated with the IMechE with experience in mechanical design.
Experienced in producing technical outputs such as design specifications, sizing and designing pumping systems and aeration systems, schedules, reports and familiar with collaborative planning reviews and designs of solutions.
Able to provide engineering input design outputs in collaboration with other disciplines, such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams.
