Job Description
Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
£43,000 + 10% Bonus
Van & Fuel + Personal Use
Requirements for Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
Adhere to health and safety regulations and electrical standards, ensuring a safe and orderly work environment.
Possess a strong technical understanding of various electrical systems.
Accurately complete all paperwork and use the Oneserve Application in a timely manner.
Perform all electrical tasks in compliance with BS 7671 Amendment 3 2024.
Supervise and manage team members, providing regular reports to Qualified Supervisors or Department Heads.
Offer technical advice and support to engineers.
Monitor the performance of engineers.
Attend client site meetings.
Conduct disciplinary investigations as necessary, ensuring company protocols are followed.
Provide training to team members, both on-site and at the company training centre, and monitor the progress of apprentices and improvers.
Conduct regular on-site and post-work inspections, preparing detailed reports of findings.
Perform regular van stock inspections.
Document and carry out end-of-probation and performance reviews for engineers.
Hold monthly toolbox talks with engineers.
Interview potential candidates as required.
Generate detailed site reports for quotes and variations (VOs) when necessary.
Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
Comply with all company policies and codes of conduct.
Maintain positive working relationships with clients and staff.
Undertake any ad hoc duties as assigned by Qualified Supervisors, Heads of Department, or senior management.
Required Skills and Experience for Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
Strong knowledge of the electrical industry
Ability to provide clear and concise instructions and advice, both verbally and in writing
Experience with mobile devices for accurate and timely electronic completion of job sheets
Excellent communication skills with customers
Proficiency in administrative tasks, including Excel and Word
Positive attitude and excellent punctuality
Confidence and experience in handling potential conflicts
Qualifications required for Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
BS 7671 18th Edition
Full UK driving license
