Digital Print Operative (Large Format)

Job Description
Pyramid8 are recruiting for a Digital print operative for our client based in Wakefield. Products range from building wraps and illuminated signage, to retail displays and props.
Responsibilities of the Print Operator include:
* Assisting the daily production within the Print department, maintaining maximum efficiency.
* Helping to ensure production levels are met in line with production schedule requirements.
* Ensuring that quality control systems are adhered to and that required quality standards are met.
As you will be operating machinery within our print department you must have relevant operative experience. We have a variety of machines, and you will already have experience using some of the following: latex printer, roll to roll flatbed UV printer, vinyl plotter, laminator, Zund cutting systems. Please clearly show on your CV which machines you have used.
From time to time, we may also ask you to get involved in the work of other departments, so you need to be adaptable and willing and able to learn new skills.
You will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

* Good interpersonal skills and great team working ability.
* Good eye for detail.

Essential experience:
* Wide format digital print experience
* Fabric printing
* Laminating
* CAD cut
* 3D management Printing
* Trimming & Mounting
* Experience in managing a team of people
* Dealing with different media types
* Pre-production
* Managing colour
* Quality control
Your normal workdays will be Mon-Fri. 37 ½ hours per week. Your work hours will fall between 6:00am and 10:00pm including weekends when the business requires
