Job Description
Trainee Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Location: Sheffield
Daily Rate: £90-£100 per day
Role to start immediately with opportunities for long term/permanent contracts.
· Safeguarding and Teaching Assistant level 2 training will be provided online.
Once online training complete, further face to face training will be provided over Easter.

Trainee Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Experience working with children would be desirable, but not essential.
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students, staff, and parents/carers.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude, with a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of the student and the school environment.
A willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEND and behaviour needs.
Trainee Teaching Assistant Job Description:
Within this Trainee Teaching Assistant role, you will be responsible for supporting pupils in schools that may have additional learning needs. This could include small group work with students, one to one, or assisting the class teacher. You will support teaching and learning.
Provide one-one support to students with their learning activities.
