Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join our growing team. You will ensure that manufactured products meet customer requirements and industry standards by utilizing appropriate tools and guidelines. This role also includes inspecting and verifying goods-inward product quality.

Please note: Successful candidates may be required to complete their training at the Reddich site prior to the opening of the Tewkesbury site.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect manufactured and incoming parts (technical and visual) to identify defects against product specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings and instructions to verify quality.
Maintain accurate records of defects and non-conformances, reporting issues to the Quality Engineer.
Manage non-conformance processes, including documentation and handling returns.
Liaise with customer quality representatives during product inspections.
Provide feedback on process improvements to the Quality Engineer.
Support ISO 9001:2015 QMS certification and adherence to GDPR and quality standards.
Manage equipment calibration renewals and register.
Perform additional duties as required by management, which may extend beyond the usual scope of work.Key Competencies
Exceptional attention to detail.
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, ideally in electronics manufacturing.
Familiarity with electronic/electrical components and cabling.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and datasheets.
Skilled in using test and measurement equipment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Desirable Experience
Knowledge of IPC-A-610/IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
Familiarity with DEF-STANs.
Experience in calibration or working with calibration equipment.Benefits
