Job Description
A prestigious and large multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced CDM Advisor to join their team in Preston.
The successful CDM Advisor will work within a dedicated team of six professionals, providing comprehensive health and safety and CDM advisory services across a variety of projects.
The successful CDM Advisor will
Collaborate closely with the team to deliver expert CDM advisory services, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
Work on a diverse range of projects, from small-scale residential developments to large commercial ventures.
Engage with clients, designers, and contractors to provide expert advice on health and safety risk management.
Manage the pre-construction phase, including the preparation of pre-construction information and design risk assessments.
Lead CDM workshops and contribute to the development of design safety strategies.
To be considered for the role of CDM Advisor, candidates should have
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a consultancy environment.
A strong background in construction design and management, with specific experience in delivering CDM advisory services.
NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
Ideally hold a membership in a relevant professional body, such as IOSH or APS.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
