Here at BJF, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our exciting and expanding construction biased business, where YOU can help support the M&E team as a plumber pipefitter.
Working with a large portfolio of public and private sector clients, our UK based organisation comprises of several divisions including Mechanical & Electrical, Construction, Projects, Reactive, FM, Small Works and other associated trades.
Position
Weekly flushing of little used outlets & emergency showers, Temperature monitoring of hot and cold-water systems, TMV full/minor servicing, Showers and spray tap quarterly descaling, purging of expansion vessels and Calorifiers/Water heater inspection and cleaning.
Regular pool and pool plant checks
Deliver in a timely manner both planned and corrective maintenance specific to water quality and systems
To uphold and support the statutory and mandatory water quality responsibilities for and on behalf of the company
Work effectively with other members of staff for New, maintenance and remedial works.
Requirements
Previous experience working to regulations & standards including ACOP L8, HSG274 part 2 & 3, HTM04-01, BS 8558, BS 8680, and more.
Mechanical/plumbing knowledge
Compliance with all health and safety requirements and to adhere to the best working practices.
Building relationships with longstanding clients
Experience working in a hospital environment and/or on swimming pools is desirable
